Kyudai Chemistry Festa 2026 — Terms of Participation
This is a reference translation. The Japanese version is authoritative.
These terms apply to participation in Kyudai Chemistry Festa 2026 (the "Event"),
organised by the Kyudai Chemistry Festa Organising Committee (the "Organiser").
Article 1 (Registration)
1. Please register through this system if you wish to attend.
2. We may decline participation if the registered information is false.
3. Registration is free of charge.
Article 2 (Handling of personal information)
1. The Organiser uses the name, email address, affiliation and similar
information obtained through registration for the following purposes:
- running the Event (reception, communication, managing presentations,
tallying the poster award, etc.)
- sending notices and information about the Event
- producing statistics (in a form that cannot identify individuals)
2. Except as required by law, the Organiser will not provide personal
information to third parties without your consent.
3. Personal information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above,
and disposed of appropriately once it is no longer needed.
4. Presenters' names, affiliations and titles appear in the abstract book
and the programme.
Article 3 (Photography and publication)
1. Photographs and video are taken at the venue for records and publicity.
2. They may appear on the websites of the Event and the host department,
in university publicity materials, and in announcements for future years.
3. If you do not wish to appear, please tell us in the request field at
registration or via the contact address. We will accommodate this as far as
we can, but please understand that we cannot always exclude you from
wide shots of the venue.
Article 4 (Presentations)
1. Copyright in the content of a presentation belongs to the presenter.
2. Presenters agree to their abstract appearing in the abstract book.
3. For unpublished data, presenters are responsible for deciding what to show.
Article 5 (Prohibited conduct)
Participants must not:
1. behave in a way that troubles other participants;
2. photograph, record or copy posters or presentation content without the
presenter's permission;
3. damage the facilities of the venue;
4. do anything else the Organiser judges to be inappropriate.
Article 6 (Disclaimer)
1. The Organiser is not liable for accidents or theft at the venue, except
where caused by reasons attributable to the Organiser.
2. The Event may be cancelled or changed due to natural disasters or other
unavoidable circumstances.
Article 7 (Changes to these terms)
The Organiser may change these terms as necessary, and will announce any
change on this system.
